The sales report

The Sales Report page is a powerful tool to enable you to analyze your store activity in great detail. It’s also useful for accounting purposes, split sheet (share) calculations and the like. You can export the data to any spreadsheet software for further processing and graphing.

Here you can generate a report based on specific criteria:

1. Define which Catalog, Album or Artist you want to generate a report for.

2. Define a price.

Select from:

  • Don’t care,
  • Less than
  • Between
  • Greater than

3. Define a date

Select from:

  • Don’t care
  • Before
  • Between
  • After

4. Define a type

Select from:

  • License sales
  • Retail sales
  • Blanket license
  • Demo downloads

5. Define sort order

Select from:

  • Date
  • Price
  • Item ID

The above example would generate a report for all License sales for Alena Manchester that were sold between 1st Jan 2017 and 31st March 2017, and were greater than $500. The column sort order would be Date, then Price, then Item ID.

Click ‘Generate’ to generate the report.

A display of the report will be generated with all the pertinent information.

You can print the report or navigate through the pages.

To download the report first select the download format.

Choose from:

  • PDF
  • HTML
  • MHT (Web page archive)
  • RTF (Rich text format)
  • Text
  • CSV
  • DBF (dBase format)

Then click on the download button to download your file.

It’s a good idea to analyze your data on a regular basis, to get an understanding of your buyer’s habits, in order to help you as you audition new tracks for your library, and also in your marketing efforts.
