Publisher’s Start Guide

This article provides an introduction to our new Publisher’s Start Guide which is geared as a “workflow” guide for new LicenseQuote users (publishers and library owners) to set up their catalog and use as a starting point reference.

Start Guide download link

The free start guide is available to download in PDF format and covers the most important aspects of setting up a new LQ Library (catalog and licensing store) service plan in 10 pages which includes images of the account menu and related console pages.

Start Guide highlights

The start guide highlights the following areas (pages & consoles) in the publisher’s account:

Catalog > Profile & Brands, Genres, Tracks/Songs, Edit Track, Tracks Configuration, Filters and Custom fields, Store Settings.

Sales > Rate Cards, Sales Report and Manage Clients page.

Once you are familiar with the menu and navigation of these essential Catalog and Sales setup tools, the rest of the areas and features will make more sense as they are typically used after you’ve completed your store setup, launched live on your website and completed your first clearance inquiries and licensing sales.
